VIP TICKET OPTION -
Purchasing
a V.I.P. ticket is a great way to get even more out of The Brewer’s
Plate. At $100.00, not only will you be supporting Fair
Food at a higher level, you will also receive a wide variety of benefits
not available to those with general admission tickets.
FIRST
LOOK
First, you will be granted early admission to the Grand Hall a half hour
prior to general admission. This will give you a chance to survey all
of the food and beverage options (and begin sampling) at your leisure
and without the crowds. You can also mingle with the chefs and brewers,
the press, and other Philadelphia movers and shakers in a relaxed, un-crowded
atmosphere.
VIP
BALLROOM, LIVE MUSIC, GIFT BAGS
Once general admission begins, you will have the option of moving upstairs
to our exclusive V.I.P. area, located in the ballroom and on the elegant,
heated terrace of the Independence
Visitor Center. You will be treated to the delightful sounds of a
live jazz band and will receive a gift bag filled with all kinds of great
items such as restaurant gift cards and specially selected beers to take
home.
EXCLUSIVE
CUISINE & BEER LIST
Of course you still have all the unlimited access to the main area offerings
that the general admission ticket provides, but in addition, Di
Bruno Bros. will be independently catering the V.I.P. portion of the
event, with fantastic gourmet options not available downstairs. This will
include tables overflowing with exquisite fare as well as hors d'oeuvres
served by a wait staff. There will also be a curated beer list representing
the wide variety of locally brewed beers available. These selections will
be different from the selections in the main area.
BEER
AND FOOD PAIRING TUTORIALS WITH CELEBRATED EXPERTS
If you would like to learn more about the art of food
and beverage pairing, two experts will be on hand leading optional
tutorials. The first, Garrett
Oliver, is the Brewmaster for Brooklyn Brewery, author of The
Brewmaster’s Table: Discovering the Pleasures of Real Beer with
Real Food, and a nationally recognized expert on pairing food and
beer. The second, Marnie
Old, is one of the country’s leading wine educators and Philadelphia’s
highest profile sommelier. She was recently recognized by the Brewer's
Association for her important role in the craft beer industry with a Journalism
award for her article “Beer Takes the High Road” in June 2007's
issue of Santé. The chance to learn from Garrett and Marnie,
and even have them personally select your beverage, is a chance no beer
lover would want to miss!
Finally,
because this event is a celebration of Philadelphia’s unique local
culture, many of the city’s most influential people have been invited.
As a V.I.P. guest, you will be part of this elite group. We look forward
to seeing you there!
